Studland History Group, 14 September 2022

This week I spent an enjoyable afternoon at Studland Village Hall speaking to a group of history enthusiasts about my book, As the Sparks Fly Upwards, and the historical context in which the story is set.

I had great fun transforming the seating area of the hall into a map of Lyme and turning the audience into the garrison and townsfolk while I related the story of the siege in 1644.
